Golf Information Guide

Golf Season
Belmont's season, during which all protocols and club policies must be followed, runs from April 1-Oct. 31

Carts Policy
Carts or caddies are required on weekend and holiday mornings until noon. Pull or push carts of any kind are not permitted on the course, unless motorized carts are not permitted due to weather conditions. Carts need to be returned to the golf shop before dusk.

Tee Times
From April 1-Oct. 31, tee times are recommended but not required.  The club would appreciate it if all players would check in at the Golf Shop prior to teeing off so the golf professionals on duty will know the whereabouts of all golfers in case of  bad weather or other emergencies. To book a tee time, please contact the Golf Shop at [419] 666-1472.

Handicap System
Belmont utilizes the widely-accepted GHIN handicap system. Scores can be entered at the Golf Shop after each round or on-line at GHIN.com. A GHIN.com link is provided on Belmont's website.  In the spirit of fair play, golfers are encouraged to enter every score and that the score is an accurate reflection of their round.

Driving Range
The range will open daily, except on Mondays, 30 minutes before the first tee time.  The range will close one hour before dusk, except on Tuesdays, when it will close two hours before dusk.

Course Etiquette
Rounds should be completed in four hours or less. Keep pace with the group in front. Replace all divots first with the grass followed by sand. Repair all ball marks on the greens. Rakes should be left in the bunkers. Please rake the area in the bunker where a shot has been played. Please keep carts parked away from all areas around the greens, preferably on the cart paths.

Caddie Program
Caddies are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because the caddie pool is limited, golfers need to call in advance of their round to secure a caddie.
