News from the Grounds  

One of the Main Jobs is the repair and service of all equipment.  Part of that service includes the rebuilding and grinding of all the reel mowers.  We currently have about 55 reel heads in our fleet. These are precise mowers, and the grinding process is critical for the quality of cut we hope to achieve.  The picture below is a link to a video demonstrating how the grinders work.

 As a Reminder

Belmont Area Waterline Replacement Project

The Northwestern Water and Sewer District will begin replacing aging waterlines near Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg Township starting late November. The project includes new hydrants, valves, and services, with anticipated completion by April 2026. Residents should expect temporary water shut-offs, lane restrictions, and restoration work after construction.

Impacted Areas:

  • Belmont Country Club Grounds
  • Simmons Road (Mandell Rd. south to Mandell Rd. north)
  • Mandell Road (Simmons Rd. to Belmont Lake Rd.)
  • Belmont Lake Road (Mandell Rd. to Wethersfield Rd.)
  • Gleneagles Road (areas north of Ford Rd.)
  • Carnoustie Road and Carnoustie Court (west of Bates Rd.)
