Golf Course Restoration Updates

Dear members,

Belmont Country Club has been the setting for your family’s milestones, friendships, and unforgettable moments, and now we are excited to announce that we are embarking on Phase 2 of our golf course renovations to preserve our heritage and strengthen the traditions that define our future.

Our carefully planned improvements were strongly guided by your survey feedback. More than three quarters of respondents identified course upgrades, especially bunkers and drainage, as top priorities. A strong majority also expressed willingness to contribute financial support to club improvements.

Our Fall 2025 renovations will focus on greens and key features such as bunkers, drainage, cart paths, mounding, hollows, and chipping areas. Our goal is to create a more enjoyable experience, a more playable course for all skill levels, and a sustainable maintenance formula. Additional upgrades are planned for Fall 2026.

We break ground September 23, 2025, with renovations in this phase lasting 6–8 weeks. The course will remain open, but we may have some minor disruptions. We hope that in spite of these changes, you will enjoy seeing the transition unfold as a witness to the writing of Belmont’s next chapter.

We are excited to share details of a fundraising campaign to cover costs of this project in the coming weeks. This is not the typical method clubs use to cover costs at this scale, but we believe our community is unlike any other, and we hope we can count on everyone’s help. Your contribution is not just a donation; it’s an investment in Belmont’s future, and your chance to make history with us. We want your days spent here to be as remarkable and memorable as possible. Your support honors our past, enriches the experience of today’s membership and secures a legacy for generations to come.

We are incredibly excited to begin these renovations. We’ll be reaching out to you with project updates and additional information very soon. Thank you for your dedication to this club.
